Journey Into The Heart

Light & Sound with Imogen & Ruhiya

You are invited to join Imogen and Ruhiya for a journey into the heart through the vibrations of light and sound. This day retreat includes guided meditation, Satsang, chanting, light transmission, sound healing and visits to sacred sites.

Glastonbury has long been a place of pilgrimage and is hailed by some as the heart chakra of the Earth. The vision of this event is to take a journey into the heart by connecting with this sacred land, with one another, and into the depths of our hearts. We will use the powerful vibrations of light and sound to harmonise, balance and connect to our true essence.

Imogen is a mystic, writer and mentor who supports those on the path of embodied spiritual awakening. A long-time practitioner of Transcendental Meditation and later a student of various non-duality teachings, in 2015 she experienced a profound and abiding shift in consciousness. She now offers guidance and Divine Light Transmissions, both in 1-1 settings as well as group Satsangs and retreats. Imogen helps people connect with their divine essence and integrate and embody all aspects of their humanness through the unconditional and tender inclusion of it all.

Ruhiya is a singer, songwriter & sound healing practitioner. She has been making music and following a mystic path since she was a child. In 2018, after experiencing healing from sound, she trained as a sound healer with Simon Heather at the College of Sound Healing UK. Her music is inspired by her ancestral Filipino roots and the teachings of Sufi master Hazrat Inayat Khan. Ruhiya is currently based in Glastonbury, where she continues to create music and offer sound healing.

How we met...

We met when we were 11 years old at Quaker camp in Wales, bonding in muddy wellies, eating marshmallows and musing over the meaning of life by the campfire. Our friendship continued over our teenage years meeting at Quaker events, and as pen pals exchanging updates. Life then took Imogen to live in the USA, Spain and Portugal, and Ruhiya to Dubai. Many years later we reconnected when we both found ourselves living in the UK again. Since then, we have stayed in close touch, still musing over the meaning of life and gazing in wonder at nature. We look forward to holding space together after many years of supporting one another’s journeys.
