Living Presence
with Imogen & Martyn Webber
7 Day Retreat in Tiruvannamalai, India
22–29 December 2026

This retreat unfolds within the living field of Imogen and Martyn’s work — a space where presence, deep listening, and the quiet power of Divine Light meet clear, direct pointing to the nature of awareness and what is already whole. Together they hold a rare complementarity: Imogen’s tender, heart-based holding of the full human journey, and Martyn’s grounded recognition of the Self. Between them they create a field in which both the clarity of awareness and the warmth of the heart are fully alive.
Held at the foot of the sacred mountain Arunachala, in Tiruvannamalai, the week offers time to settle, to be met, and to rest into what is already here. Each day will include meditation, satsang inquiry, and Divine Light Energy Transmissions, alongside spaciousness, silence, and shared retreat rhythm.
Their way of holding retreat is not about directing experience or leading people toward a particular outcome. It is about creating a steady, attentive field of grace in which something deeper can emerge naturally, without pressure or striving. What unfolds is shaped as much by presence and atmosphere as by words or form.
Tiruvannamalai itself is alive, devotional, and unfiltered. Rather than retreating from that intensity, this week offers a grounded container within it, allowing the place, the practices, and the shared field to work together.
You do not need any particular belief, background, or experience to attend. What matters is a willingness to arrive honestly, and to meet what unfolds with care and openness.
If you feel the call of India, you are very welcome.

Accommodation
We will be staying together at Sangam Retreat House, a dedicated retreat space within a short walking distance of Ramana Maharshi Ashram, with open views towards the sacred mountain Arunachala.
Sangam House is simple, comfortable, and quietly held. Originally built as a private home and later expanded into a retreat setting, it retains a warm, lived-in quality rather than the feel of a hotel or guesthouse. The rooms are modest, clean, and comfortable.
There are several shared indoor and outdoor spaces for meditation, rest, and quiet reflection, including rooftop and veranda areas, gardens, and a swimming pool where you can cool off or rest between sessions. Everyone staying at the house is participating in the retreat, creating a focused and inward-facing environment with an atmosphere that is calm and supportive, offering both shared spaces and quiet places to be alone.
Further images and details of the retreat centre can be viewed via their website HERE.
Shared Rooms
Accommodation is in shared rooms, either double or triple, and rooms will be allocated by gender. You do not need to find someone to share with, as rooms will be assigned by us. If the retreat is not full, some rooms may be occupied by just one person.
There is one single room available — if you have a particular personal need for your own room, please mention this in your inquiry and we will do our best to accommodate you.
If you would like to share a room with a friend, please email beyondimogen@gmail.com with their name and we will do our best to accommodate your request.
Food
Vegetarian meals will be served as standard. With an Indian/Western Breakfast and Indian lunch and dinner. All meals will be low chilli-spiced with chutneys available if you prefer to add spice. We can cater for gluten free and dairy free diets but specific individual dietary needs outside of this cannot be accommodated.
Meals are shared together and form part of the rhythm of retreat life.
